Victoria Road Users “must take responsibility”

By Nima Green

Superintendent Neville Taylor of Victoria Police, says the main message to Victoria’s road users is to accept that everyone has a part to play in helping our roads to be safer.  His message comes as last weekend has resulted in 4 tragic fatalities.

This has highlighted the issue of road safety, and what more can be done to help drivers be more aware of the main contributing factors to serious accidents. This year’s road death toll is now 189, up from 187 during the same period last year.

Victoria Police wants road users to be more aware each other.
