Thousands of followers of the Chinese spiritualistic practice Falun Gong are facing persecution, torture and even death for refusing to renounce their beliefs. Many have fled to Australia but even here they are facing opposition.  Chinese funded Confucius Institutes around Australia are politically vetting teachers to ensure that they don’t practice falun gong themselves or teach students about it.  So what is Falun Gong anyway?
